Franz Ferdinand

Party rock. Guitars that run through the melody to the rhythm, from pop to funky without pause. Their sole goal: dance, to get the dance floor going through the force of their sound, the excited stampede to get on for “this one”.  Franz Ferdinand have changed the face of contemporary rock, throwing together beats, punk energy, dance and a dash of art school that has influenced many of today’s groups.  They’ll keep the party going until dawn. London, Berlin and Ibiza, it doesn’t matter. So their new album ‘Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action’ will definitely be filling the dance floors this summer and is certainly destined to become one of the favorites of Ibiza Rocks.

Fantasy, vitality, fun: so they sum up the ingredients of Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action, “a meeting between intellect and soul”, which seems spot on for a group that met at Glasgow Art School before taking on the world. You want to sing along after the first listening, the sign of a sure-fire hit. Catch them live on September 5, live at the Isle of Wight Festival.
