What to expect from this year's edition of the Spanish festival
The musical celebration on the Isle of Wight revives memories of the spirit of the legendary events stretching back to 1968.
Closing the festival is icon Nile Rodgers of Chic whose ‘Good Times’ inspired much contemporary music and hip hop, and who has gone on to collaborate with Daft Punk on their album ‘Random Access Memories’.
The festival will also feature stars of American rap OutKast as part of their 40 date international tour, plus Disclosure, Major Lazer, London Grammar, Clean Bandit and Churches. Look out too for British soul diva Laura Mvula whose synthesis of blues, funk and gospel is not to be missed.
